Torsten Slama
From 1995 to 2000, the series of pencil drawings on coloured paper dominated, in which Slama found his very own style.
Influenced by comics and film, they show corresponding portraits. Other detailed drawings are dedicated to people in an urban context. The works were created both in Cologne and after his move to Berlin in 1997 and reflect the appropriation strategies of the 1990s.
